Quick note: The timing of the first season of The Smith Society was totally thrown into disarray when I saw the film Limbo a couple of weeks ago. I was so absolutely blown away by the film and the performance of Amir El-Masry that I had to talk to him ASAP. This meant totally rearranging the whole first season so that our pilot episode would drop close to the release of Limbo. That’s how special this film is. That’s how special Amir’s performance was. That’s how special Amir is. So, here we are, the film came out last week [April 30, 2021] and you must see it! It’s such a beautiful film.
